Natasha I’m a mum of two who loves getting creative in the kitchen, whether that’s baking or cooking from scratch – something I love to bring into our sessions. Before joining the youth centre, I worked in banks and debt helplines, which gave me lots of experience supporting people. I also enjoy decorating for every season and making spaces feel warm and welcoming. As a member of the Community Learning and Development Standards Council Scotland, I’m passionate about helping young people learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun along the way. |

Beverley I have lived on Islay all my life and started working with MYCOS November 2024 in my current role as senior youth worker. I have previous experience working in child daycare as a childcare practitioner, I am also a mum of two children with additional support needs, so I understand the development and needs of children of all abilities. I am passionate about creating a space where our youth can feel safe, welcome and included, while providing Opportunities that helps them build their confidence and self esteem while having fun. Living in a small community, community involvement is a big part of rural living and would like to incorporate our youth activities more within the community. I also want to provide more activities for children with additional support needs helping them develop skills and independence. |
