Management  Committee

I was born and raised on Islay but spent many years in Salcombe and Glasgow where I trained as an Interior Designer before returning to Port Ellen with my son almost 20 years ago to work as Activities Manager in the Mactaggart Community Cybercafe ... which is now MYCOS. This role enabled me to then retrain as a primary teacher and I am currently working in Port Ellen Primary School. 5 years ago I travelled to India and spent an intense month in the Himalayas training to be a yoga teacher. I now run yoga sessions for adults and children in MYCOS and on our beautiful beaches. I volunteered to help the MYCOS Committee several years ago and redesigned the interior of the building into a flexible, bright and wel- coming environment.
